Description

This respirator is designed to be used with 3M 6000 Series Cartridges and the 3M 501 Retainer, providing effective protection against various airborne hazards. It is ideal for use in environments where particles, dusts, mists, and fumes are present, including tasks such as sanding, grinding, cutting, drilling metal, masonry, wood, concrete, and exposure to mist droplets from spraying.

Key Features:

  • Provides protection against particulates (P2), including those containing oil
  • Suitable for both 3M 6000 and 7500 Series Half Face Respirators, offering protection up to 10 times the Workplace Exposure Standard (WES)
  • Can be used with 3M 6000 and 7800 Series Full Face Respirators for protection up to 50 times the WES

Applications:

  • Sanding, grinding, cutting, and drilling of metal, masonry, wood, and concrete
  • Protection from mist droplets during spraying

Protection Factors:

This respirator cartridge/filter should not be used when airborne contaminant concentrations exceed Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH) levels. It provides the following protection levels when used with compatible respirators:

  • 3M 6000/7500 Half Face Respirator: For particles, up to 10x WES
  • 3M 6000/7800 Full Face Respirator: For particles, up to 50x WES
