Characteristics:
- Available in 1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm, 10.5mm, and 12mm thicknesses
- A black, medium density, closed cell, UV stable PVC foam tape
- Air, dust and water seal
- Coated with an acrylic adhesive on one side
- Economical and easy to use
- Suitable for medium to heavy duty applications
Typical applications include:
- Building – moisture barrier on external building joints
- Glazing – used on aluminium, wood and uPVC window systems between glass and frame beading, and as both internal and external seal
- Cladding – Suitable for use in very large cladding systems
- Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning – Used to seal paneling on heating and ventilation units to prevent air leakage
- Sound transmission – used to help prevent vibrations
